November 23rd: Sourdough Bread how-to

Cost: $10

Learn the basics of starting a sourdough culture and try your hand at mixing and baking artisan loaves. We will discuss the properties of various grains  and the science behind baking bread!

November 30th: Wreath making class

Cost: $12
Create a wreath for your door from natural materials and learn how to tie a beautiful bow, everytime!

December 7th: Cookie Decorating Day

Cost: $5

Come decorate pre-made cookies with friends! 
This is a great chance to socialize and bring home a plate of home-baked treats for the holidays. 
Hot drinks and snacks provided.


December 14th: Make a Felted Ornament, 10am-12 noon

Cost: $15/person

Learn how to needle felt shapes and animals from natural wool!

December 28th: Snowshoe/X-country Ski day

Cost: Free

Bring your own snowshoes or skis and join us for a day of winter fun! 
Hot cocoa and homemade marshmallows provided.
Space is limited, so RSVP for more information (time and meeting location)

IF there is no snow: This will be a winter nature hike instead - learn how to identify wildflowers by their winter seedpods!

January 20th: Handmade pasta and tortilla day

Cost: $12/session, or $20 for both sessions

Session 1, 10am-12noon: Making pasta from scratch - learn a basic recipe that's easy to reproduce in your own kitchen!

Session 2, 1pm-3pm: Learn how to nixtamalize corn and try making corn tortillas AND flour tortillas

April 18th: Beginning Cheese Making

Cost: $18

Learn two simple cheese recipes from our cheesemaker supreme, Anna Stewart! Try making queso blanco and fresh ricotta from goat's milk

April 25th: Natural Dyes

Cost: $12

Learn how to extract and use dyes from plant materials on wool, cotton, or other natural fibers. 

Bring your own items to dye (must be an animal or plant fiber such as: wool, alpaca, mohair, silk, cotton, linen, hemp)
